Dental spas offer more services

Good oral health can
promote an overall sense of well-being. The latest trend among dentists
is to offer a variety of treatments in a relaxing
spa environment.
"I think this is a definite trend," said Dr. Jeff Roy, who
launched 21st Century Dental Spa in Irving, among the first of its kind
in the nation.
"Nobody likes to go to the dentist, so we’ve created a lot
of comfortable distractions so you’re not so focused on the traditional,
negative aspects of dentistry,” Dr. Roy said.
Because the total environment smells, looks, and feels very different
than a traditional dental office, it might be the perfect choice for
someone who is afraid to go to the dentist.
