Café on the Green – Inside the Four Seasons, great chef and best sommelier in the metroplex

Cavalli’s -  Pizza just like they serve in Italy, and all my Italian friends will attest to it.  Bring your own bottle of wine.  Great food!

Pappas Bros. Steakhouse – This is the one to beat in the metroplex.  Always good; be sure and check out the framed quotes in the bar. Anything Pappas… Pappasito’s (Tex-Mexican food) Pappadeaux (Seafood) is guaranteed good.

Anamia’s – Great Mexican food, margaritas, and service.  I should own stock in this company, 3 locations in the burbs.

Sonny Bryan’s -  Lots of places to get good BBQ in Texas, but Eric Clapton and Kevin James make this a regular stop when staying at the Four Seasons. Try their version of the Frito Pie to shake things up a bit.

Four Seasons- Of course, the measuring stick.  My personal favorite.

Gaylord Texan – Tons to do on site, or a free shuttle ride to Historic Main Street in Grapevine.  Incredible steakhouse, Glass Cactus club at night, amazing sports bar, and soon-to-be added water park.  Amazing place to be at Christmas.

Great Wolf Lodge – Kids LOVE this place.  Indoor pools and slides, especially cool for the cool weather months. 

Omni Fort Worth  - If going to Sundance Square, Billy Bob’s, FW Convention Center, 8.0’s etc.  Can walk and do plenty downtown, and it is right across the street from the Fort Worth Water Gardens.
